Prof. (FH) Mag. Monika Kovarova-Simecek

Monika Kovarova-Simecek is academic director of the master programmes Digital Business Communications and Digital Management & Sustainability. Since 2020, she is member of the academic board at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten.

Her teaching and research focus on Corporate Communications & Reporting, Investor Relations and Financial Communication. She is primarily concerned with the technology-driven change in communication in financial contexts and its influence on the behaviour of capital market players and structures.

Monika Kovarova-Simecek is member of the Advisory Board of Zertifikate Forum Austria and engaged in the associations Circle of Investor Relations Austria (CIRA) and the Center for Corporate Reporting (CCR).

Prior to her current position, she was Finance Director at Ketchum Publico, Head of Controlling at the Institute for Financial Management at FHWien der WKW and Head of Controlling & Reporting at the same university. As author and editor, she shaped the financial journal CFOaktuell for several years.
